My stay at the hotel was a mix of great views and some drawbacks. The room, although a bit worn, offered a functional space with a marvelous ocean view. However, it was located in the car park area, which surprisingly had one of the best views in south Norway. The service was a bit hit and miss, with occasional friendliness and carelessness. The location, while situated on a fantastic private beach, lacked some sitting areas and was not far from Grimstad. The dining experience, though basic, had more than ample portions. Overall, the facilities were decent but could use some improvement in certain areas.
