Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of great views and some drawbacks. The room, although a bit worn, offered a functional space with a marvelous ocean view. However, it was located in the car park area, which surprisingly had one of the best views in south Norway. The service was a bit hit and miss, with occasional friendliness and carelessness. The location, while situated on a fantastic private beach, lacked some sitting areas and was not far from Grimstad. The dining experience, though basic, had more than ample portions. Overall, the facilities were decent but could use some improvement in certain areas.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room had a breathtaking view with large windows, but unfortunately, it faced the parking area, which was not very appealing. The service was friendly overall, but there were moments when the staff seemed tired and uninterested. The location was fantastic, right by the beach, although there were some parts that looked a bit worn out. The dining options were basic, and although the facilities were nice, they could use some improvement.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the rooms had a modern design and decor, but being situated right above the bar was not ideal for a relaxing stay. The service started off very welcoming and service-minded but became inconsistent as the weekend progressed. The location was good with a spectacular view, yet my room was unexpectedly small without any consultation or explanation. The dining options, while nice, were quite basic but had a good variety. Despite these mixed aspects, the facilities were satisfactory, providing a decent stay overall.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was large, with an excellent view, perfect for those traveling with pets. The service was friendly and helpful, making my mini holiday with my 2-year-old son great. The location is everything you could ask for, with a quiet sandy beachfront and pleasant waterfront promenade. The dining experience was more than ample, and the facilities were top-notch.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were a bit of a letdown due to the discrepancy between the type of bed I had booked and what was provided. However, the oceanview room I was moved to was spacious, clean, and well-designed. The service was very friendly and made my solo holiday with my 2-year-old son extra special. The location, right next to the sea, was lovely but not ideal for those looking to stay closer to Grimstad. The dining options were average with repetitive choices, although the variety and service were good. The facilities were decent but didn't exceed expectations.
